Sold at the lower estimate price
In November 2011 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work They Series by Hai Bo. The result of HKD 20,000.00 (€ 1,913.33) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of HKD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hai Bo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four Seasons in September 2009 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 47,311.89).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im November 2011 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit They Series von Hai Bo zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von HKD 20.000,00 (€ 1.913,33) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hai Bo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four Seasons im September 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 47.311,89).
