Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2017 a collector was able to acquire the work They No. 3 by Hai Bo for USD 3,750.00 (€ 3,219.44). This price was achieved in the auction The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hai Bo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four Seasons in September 2009 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 47,311.89).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2017 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit They No. 3 von Hai Bo für USD 3.750,00 (€ 3.219,44) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The Odyssey of Collecting: Photographs from Joy of Giving Something Foundation bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hai Bo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four Seasons im September 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 47.311,89).
