This artwork by Hai Bo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Contemporary Asian Art auction, the work The Bridge (Diptych) sold for HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,580.39) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 30,000.00. Admittedly, works by Hai Bo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Four Seasons in September 2009 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 47,311.89).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Hai Bo erzielte im April 2014 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Asian Art wurde die Arbeit The Bridge (Diptych) für HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.580,39) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 30.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Hai Bo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Four Seasons im September 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 47.311,89).
