Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Phillips in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Shadow – 3 by Hai Bo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,024.00 (€ 2,513.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Hai Bo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Four Seasons in September 2009 with an auction result of GBP 43,250.00 (€ 47,311.89).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Phillips in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Shadow – 3 von Hai Bo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 3.024,00 (€ 2.513,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Hai Bo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Four Seasons im September 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 43.250,00 (€ 47.311,89).
