Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2013 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included the work Random by Grazia Toderi. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 13,852.97) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Grazia Toderi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Random, which sold at auction in May 2011 for EUR 29,550.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch die Arbeit Random von Grazia Toderi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 13.852,97) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Grazia Toderi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Random beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für EUR 29.550,00 versteigert wurde.
