Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Il Fiore Delle 1001 Notti by Grazia Toderi was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in May 2012. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 8,125.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Grazia Toderi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Random, which sold at auction in May 2011 for EUR 29,550.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Il Fiore Delle 1001 Notti von Grazia Toderi kam im Mai 2012 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 8.125,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Grazia Toderi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Random beobachtet, die im Mai 2011 für EUR 29.550,00 versteigert wurde.
