Auction result misses estimated price range
In March this year a collector was able to acquire the work Colossus II by Godfried Donkor for USD 6,350.00 (€ 5,840.69). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Godfried Donkor have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2018 by the work Ghan aianbrowning Madonna at GBP 9,375.00 (€ 10,572.11).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Colossus II von Godfried Donkor für USD 6.350,00 (€ 5.840,69) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Godfried Donkor wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Oktober 2018 die Arbeit Ghan aianbrowning Madonna mit GBP 9.375,00 (€ 10.572,11).
