Auction result well in line with expectations
The work In Vaporetto by Gianni Berengo Gardin was auctioned at Sothebys in Paris in November 2012. The price achieved of EUR 5,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gianni Berengo Gardin have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Vaporetto, 1960 in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,408.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit In Vaporetto von Gianni Berengo Gardin kam im November 2012 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gianni Berengo Gardin auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Vaporetto, 1960 im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 29.408,15).
