A top price for Gianni Berengo Gardin - as previously expected
The work Vaporetto, 1960 by Gianni Berengo Gardin was auctioned at Christies in London in June 2012. The price achieved of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,408.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Vaporetto, 1960 is the most expensive artwork by Gianni Berengo Gardin that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Vaporetto, 1960 von Gianni Berengo Gardin kam im Juni 2012 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 29.408,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden.
