Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Gran Bretagna 1977 by Gianni Berengo Gardin was sold in the Fotografia auction at Il Ponte in June 2019. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 550.00 – 850.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 600.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gianni Berengo Gardin achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Vaporetto, 1960 in June 2012 with an auction result of GBP 23,750.00 (€ 29,408.15).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Gran Bretagna 1977 von Gianni Berengo Gardin wurde im Juni 2019 in der Auktion Fotografia bei Il Ponte versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 550,00 – 850,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 600,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gianni Berengo Gardin erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Vaporetto, 1960 im Juni 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 23.750,00 (€ 29.408,15).
