Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Stonehenge by Gertrude Hermes for GBP 437.50 (€ 506.02). This price was achieved in the auction Prints and Multiples at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gertrude Hermes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Butterfly in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 77,768.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Stonehenge von Gertrude Hermes für GBP 437,50 (€ 506,02) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints and Multiples bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 500,00 – 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gertrude Hermes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Butterfly im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 77.768,60).
