In September this year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Prints and Multiples, which included the work Bees by Gertrude Hermes. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 960.00 (€ 960.00), 37% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gertrude Hermes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Butterfly in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 77,768.60).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 37 % übertroffen
Im September diesen Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Prints and Multiples durch, in der auch die Arbeit Bees von Gertrude Hermes zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 960,00) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gertrude Hermes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Butterfly im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 77.768,60).
