It achieved a price of GBP 1,216.00 (€ 1,216.00), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 74%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gertrude Hermes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Butterfly in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 77,768.60).

Die Arbeit Waterfall von Gertrude Hermes kam im September diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.216,00 (€ 1.216,00) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 74%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gertrude Hermes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Butterfly im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 77.768,60).
