Sold at the lower estimate price
The work Stonehenge by Gertrude Hermes was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2006. The result of GBP 300.00 (€ 448.23) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 400.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gertrude Hermes achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Butterfly in March 2015 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 77,768.60).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Stonehenge von Gertrude Hermes kam im Oktober 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 300,00 (€ 448,23) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 400,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gertrude Hermes erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Butterfly im März 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 77.768,60).
