Auction result well in line with expectations
The work After The Battle by Georgy Gurianov was sold in the Erotic: Passion & Desire auction at Sothebys in London in February 2017. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,703.71) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georgy Gurianov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rower Sergey in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 188,500.00 (€ 226,834.52).

Die Arbeit After The Battle von Georgy Gurianov wurde im Februar 2017 in der Auktion Erotic: Passion & Desire bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.703,71) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georgy Gurianov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rower Sergey im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 188.500,00 (€ 226.834,52).
