Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Polo Players by Georgy Gurianov was sold in the Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2016. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,748.77). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georgy Gurianov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rower Sergey in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 188,500.00 (€ 226,834.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Polo Players von Georgy Gurianov wurde im November 2016 in der Auktion Including the Bar-Gera Collection of Soviet Non-Conformist Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.748,77) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georgy Gurianov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rower Sergey im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 188.500,00 (€ 226.834,52).
