Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Russian gay Games by Georgy Gurianov was sold in the Contemporary East auction at Sothebys in London in June 2016. The price achieved of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 45,012.24) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Georgy Gurianov have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Rower Sergey in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 188,500.00 (€ 226,834.52).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Russian gay Games von Georgy Gurianov wurde im Juni 2016 in der Auktion Contemporary East bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 45.012,24) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georgy Gurianov auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Rower Sergey im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 188.500,00 (€ 226.834,52).
