Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Georgy Gurianov achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Russian Pictures auction, the work The Dive sold for GBP 144,900.00 (€ 170,126.23) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 60,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georgy Gurianov; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Rower Sergey sold at auction in November 2013 with the realized price of GBP 188,500.00 (€ 226,834.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georgy Gurianov erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Russian Pictures wurde die Arbeit The Dive für GBP 144.900,00 (€ 170.126,23) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 60.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Georgy Gurianov; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Rower Sergey im November 2013 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 188.500,00 (€ 226.834,52).
