In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Tennis Player by Georgy Gurianov. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,388.13), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georgy Gurianov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rower Sergey in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 188,500.00 (€ 226,834.52).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tennis Player von Georgy Gurianov zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.388,13) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georgy Gurianov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rower Sergey im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 188.500,00 (€ 226.834,52).
