In June 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Russian Pictures, which included the work Wrestlers by Georgy Gurianov. The auction ended at the price of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,832.88), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Georgy Gurianov achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Rower Sergey in November 2013 with an auction result of GBP 188,500.00 (€ 226,834.52).
Zuschlag beim oberen Schätzpreis
Im Juni 2017 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Wrestlers von Georgy Gurianov zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.832,88) entsprach exakt dem oberen Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Georgy Gurianov erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Rower Sergey im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 188.500,00 (€ 226.834,52).
