This artwork by Georges Papazoff achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in March 2017. In the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction, the work Rêverie sold for GBP 31,250.00 (€ 36,621.92) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Georges Papazoff; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Hommage Au Douanier Rousseau, Le Rêve De "La Bohemienne Endormie" - 1957 sold at auction in June 2014 with the realized price of EUR 63,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Georges Papazoff erzielte im März 2017 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Rêverie für GBP 31.250,00 (€ 36.621,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Georges Papazoff; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Hommage Au Douanier Rousseau, Le Rêve De "La Bohemienne Endormie" - 1957 im Juni 2014 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 63.900,00.
