The work Les Éclaireurs by Georges Papazoff was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in July 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,702.76), 42% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Georges Papazoff - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Hommage Au Douanier Rousseau, Le Rêve De "La Bohemienne Endormie" - 1957, which sold at auction in June 2014 for EUR 63,900.00.

Die Arbeit Les Éclaireurs von Georges Papazoff wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.702,76) und damit 42% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Georges Papazoff mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Hommage Au Douanier Rousseau, Le Rêve De "La Bohemienne Endormie" - 1957 beobachtet, die im Juni 2014 für EUR 63.900,00 versteigert wurde.
