Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Composition by Georges Papazoff was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Artcurial in Paris in June last year. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 13,120.00. Admittedly, works by Georges Papazoff have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Hommage Au Douanier Rousseau, Le Rêve De "La Bohemienne Endormie" - 1957 in June 2014 with an auction result of EUR 63,900.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Composition von Georges Papazoff wurde im Juni letzten Jahres in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 13.120,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Georges Papazoff auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Hommage Au Douanier Rousseau, Le Rêve De "La Bohemienne Endormie" - 1957 im Juni 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 63.900,00.
