It achieved a price of HKD 118,750.00 (€ 11,360.38), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gede Mahendra Yasa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Origen's Gambit in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,750,000.00 (€ 188,414.02).

Die Arbeit Painting with Frame von Gede Mahendra Yasa kam im November 2011 bei Christies in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 118.750,00 (€ 11.360,38) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gede Mahendra Yasa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Origen's Gambit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.750.000,00 (€ 188.414,02).
