It achieved a price of HKD 350,000.00 (€ 34,103.11), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 40%. Admittedly, works by Gede Mahendra Yasa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Origen's Gambit in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,750,000.00 (€ 188,414.02).

Die Arbeit Silver Acrylic Paint On Face # 2 von Gede Mahendra Yasa kam im April 2012 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 350.000,00 (€ 34.103,11) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 40%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gede Mahendra Yasa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Origen's Gambit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.750.000,00 (€ 188.414,02).
