Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale), which included the work Side Abstraction by Gede Mahendra Yasa. The price achieved of HKD 81,250.00 (€ 8,464.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 65,000.00 – 95,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gede Mahendra Yasa achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Origen's Gambit in November 2017 with an auction result of HKD 1,750,000.00 (€ 188,414.02).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Side Abstraction von Gede Mahendra Yasa zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 8.464,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 65.000,00 – 95.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gede Mahendra Yasa erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Origen's Gambit im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 1.750.000,00 (€ 188.414,02).
