Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Christies in London held the auction Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale, which included the work Springende Pferde, Kompositionsentwurf by Franz Marc. The price achieved of GBP 23,940.00 (€ 27,862.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 20,000.00 – 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Franz Marc achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Foxes (Die Füchse) in March last year with an auction result of GBP 42,654,500.00 (€ 50,571,710.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Christies in London die Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art Day and Works on Paper Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Springende Pferde, Kompositionsentwurf von Franz Marc zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 23.940,00 (€ 27.862,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Franz Marc erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Foxes (Die Füchse) im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 42.654.500,00 (€ 50.571.710,45).
