Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2015 Sothebys in New York held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale, which included the work Ours Blanc by François Pompon. The price achieved of USD 250,000.00 (€ 236,697.60) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 220,000.00 – 280,000.00. Other works by François Pompon have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2015 the work Ours Blanc was auctioned for GBP 329,000.00 (€ 463,885.87).

Im November 2015 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Ours Blanc von François Pompon zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 236.697,60) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 220.000,00 – 280.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von François Pompon konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Juni 2015 die Arbeit Ours Blanc für GBP 329.000,00 (€ 463.885,87) versteigert.
