Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Ours blanc by François Pompon was sold in the La Ménagerie auction at Christies in New York in November 2019. The »bidding war« ended at USD 350,000.00 (€ 317,633.18), 17% above the upper estimate. Other works by François Pompon have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of GBP 329,000.00 (€ 463,885.87) in June 2015 for the work Ours Blanc.
