Auction result misses estimated price range
In June 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work The Women by Francis Ruyter for GBP 1,260.00 (€ 1,468.23). This price was achieved in the auction Evening & Day Editions at Phillips in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Ruyter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City of Women in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,746.03).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juni 2021 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Women von Francis Ruyter für GBP 1.260,00 (€ 1.468,23) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Evening & Day Editions bei Phillips in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Ruyter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City of Women im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.746,03).
