Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work The Blackboard Jungle by Francis Ruyter was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art Online auction at Bonhams in July this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 6,400.00 (€ 5,807.62). Admittedly, works by Francis Ruyter have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work City of Women in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,746.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit The Blackboard Jungle von Francis Ruyter wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 6.400,00 (€ 5.807,62) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Francis Ruyter auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit City of Women im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.746,03).
