Auction result well in line with expectations
In February this year Bonhams held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art Online, which included the work Full Circle by Francis Ruyter. The price achieved of USD 1,912.50 (€ 1,803.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Ruyter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City of Women in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,746.03).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Februar diesen Jahres führte Bonhams die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Full Circle von Francis Ruyter zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.912,50 (€ 1.803,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Ruyter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City of Women im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.746,03).
