The work Beyond the Forest by Francis Ruyter was auctioned at Phillips in London in January last year. It achieved a price of GBP 2,394.00 (€ 2,869.51), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 33%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Ruyter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City of Women in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,746.03).

Die Arbeit Beyond the Forest von Francis Ruyter kam im Januar letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 2.394,00 (€ 2.869,51) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 33%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Ruyter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City of Women im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.746,03).
