Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Peckinpah by Francis Ruyter was auctioned at Phillips in New York in October 2016. It achieved a price of USD 1,750.00 (€ 1,596.42), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 17%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Francis Ruyter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work City of Women in February 2007 with an auction result of USD 42,000.00 (€ 31,746.03).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Peckinpah von Francis Ruyter kam im Oktober 2016 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.750,00 (€ 1.596,42) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Francis Ruyter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit City of Women im Februar 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 42.000,00 (€ 31.746,03).
