Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2017 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Gated Fields by Francis Davison. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,679.78) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Francis Davison have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Untitled 9-9 (Fawn, White, Red And Green) was auctioned for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,709.36).
