Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Trees And Fields by Francis Davison was sold in the Modern & Post-War British Art Day Sale auction at Sothebys in London in June 2018. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 6,357.21) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Other works by Francis Davison have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Untitled 9-9 (Fawn, White, Red And Green) was auctioned for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,709.36).
