Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2015 Christies in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work Black House in Fields by Francis Davison. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,912.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Other works by Francis Davison have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in November 2010 the work Untitled 9-9 (Fawn, White, Red And Green) was auctioned for GBP 8,125.00 (€ 9,709.36).

Im März 2015 führte Christies in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Black House in Fields von Francis Davison zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.000,00 (€ 6.912,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Francis Davison konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im November 2010 die Arbeit Untitled 9-9 (Fawn, White, Red And Green) für GBP 8.125,00 (€ 9.709,36) versteigert.
