This artwork by Feng Mengbo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2011. In the Asian Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction, the work The Video Endgame Series: Three Martyrs of the People - Liberation Army (panel one): signed 'mb'; dated '1992' (lower right) sold for HKD 400,000.00 (€ 38,266.56) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Feng Mengbo - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Streetfighter II, which sold at auction in May 2016 for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 101,133.81).

Für andere Arbeiten von Feng Mengbo mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Streetfighter II beobachtet, die im Mai 2016 für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 101.133,81) versteigert wurde.
