Auction result well in line with expectations
In April this year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale, which included the work 2005 M03 by Feng Mengbo. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of HKD 60,000.00 – 100,000.00, the actual price achieved of HKD 63,000.00 (€ 64,335.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Feng Mengbo have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2016 the work Streetfighter II was auctioned for HKD 875,000.00 (€ 101,133.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April diesen Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion NO REGRETS: 20th/21st Century Art Online Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 2005 M03 von Feng Mengbo zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von HKD 60.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von HKD 63.000,00 (€ 64.335,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Andere Arbeiten von Feng Mengbo konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Mai 2016 die Arbeit Streetfighter II für HKD 875.000,00 (€ 101.133,81) versteigert.
