Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Dinosaur With Red Guard by Feng Mengbo was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April 2011. The price achieved of HKD 250,000.00 (€ 21,725.93) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Admittedly, works by Feng Mengbo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Streetfighter II in May 2016 with an auction result of HKD 875,000.00 (€ 101,133.81).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Dinosaur With Red Guard von Feng Mengbo kam im April 2011 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 250.000,00 (€ 21.725,93) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Feng Mengbo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Streetfighter II im Mai 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 875.000,00 (€ 101.133,81).
