Sold at the lower estimate price
In December 2012 Christies in London held the auction Old Master, Decorative, Modern & Contemporary Prints including an Important Private Collection by Lill Tschudi, which included the work The Annunciation (Bartsch 1) by Federico Barocci. The result of GBP 500.00 (€ 616.64) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Barocci achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Head of Saint John the Evangelist, an oil study for The Entombment of Christ in the church of Santa Croce, Senigallia in January 2009 with an auction result of USD 1,762,500.00 (€ 1,376,522.96).
Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Head of Saint John the Evangelist, an oil study for The Entombment of Christ in the church of Santa Croce, Senigallia im Januar 2009 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.762.500,00 (€ 1.376.522,96).
