Auction result well in line with expectations
The work #3 by Fabian Marcaccio was sold in the Contemporary Art Part II auction at Phillips in New York in May 2010. It changed hands for a price of USD 8,750.00 (€ 7,074.14) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fabian Marcaccio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mutual betrayal #2 in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 25,850.00 (€ 30,573.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit #3 von Fabian Marcaccio wurde im Mai 2010 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Part II bei Phillips in New York versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 8.750,00 (€ 7.074,14) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fabian Marcaccio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mutual betrayal #2 im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.850,00 (€ 30.573,63).
