This artwork by Fabian Marcaccio achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in September last year. In the Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers auction, the work Paint tants sold for EUR 5,292.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fabian Marcaccio have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mutual betrayal #2 in May 2001 with an auction result of USD 25,850.00 (€ 30,573.63).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 76 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Fabian Marcaccio erzielte im September letzten Jahres bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Un regard sur le monde : Collection Comte & Comtesse Jean-Jacques de Flers wurde die Arbeit Paint tants für EUR 5.292,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fabian Marcaccio auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mutual betrayal #2 im Mai 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.850,00 (€ 30.573,63).
