Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Painting # (-) 57 by Fabian Marcaccio was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2012. It changed hands for a price of USD 18,750.00 (€ 14,411.99) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fabian Marcaccio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mutual betrayal #2, which sold at auction in May 2001 for USD 25,850.00 (€ 30,573.63).

Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 18.750,00 (€ 14.411,99) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Fabian Marcaccio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mutual betrayal #2 beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für USD 25.850,00 (€ 30.573,63) versteigert wurde.
