Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Parche De Henequén by Fabian Marcaccio. The price achieved of USD 11,875.00 (€ 9,127.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fabian Marcaccio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mutual betrayal #2, which sold at auction in May 2001 for USD 25,850.00 (€ 30,573.63).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Parche De Henequén von Fabian Marcaccio zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 11.875,00 (€ 9.127,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fabian Marcaccio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mutual betrayal #2 beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für USD 25.850,00 (€ 30.573,63) versteigert wurde.
