In April 2014 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Post-War and Contemporary Art, which included the work Mutual Betrayal No. 3 by Fabian Marcaccio. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 13,750.00 53% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fabian Marcaccio - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mutual betrayal #2, which sold at auction in May 2001 for USD 25,850.00 (€ 30,573.63).

Im April 2014 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mutual Betrayal No. 3 von Fabian Marcaccio zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 13.750,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Fabian Marcaccio mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mutual betrayal #2 beobachtet, die im Mai 2001 für USD 25.850,00 (€ 30.573,63) versteigert wurde.
