This artwork by Esteban Vicente achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in May 2021. In the Contemporary Art Day Auction auction, the work No. 6 sold for USD 88,200.00 (€ 72,330.65) - well above the upper estimate of USD 50,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Esteban Vicente - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in May 2019 for USD 175,000.00 (€ 156,964.75).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Esteban Vicente erzielte im Mai 2021 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Day Auction wurde die Arbeit No. 6 für USD 88.200,00 (€ 72.330,65) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 50.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Esteban Vicente mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im Mai 2019 für USD 175.000,00 (€ 156.964,75) versteigert wurde.
