This artwork by Ernest Trova achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in September 2015. In the Contemporary Curated auction, the work Study/Falling Man (Wheelman) sold for USD 15,000.00 (€ 13,438.45) - well above the upper estimate of USD 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ernest Trova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study/Falling Man (Wheel Man) in October 2020 with an auction result of USD 63,000.00 (€ 54,091.18).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ernest Trova erzielte im September 2015 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Contemporary Curated wurde die Arbeit Study/Falling Man (Wheelman) für USD 15.000,00 (€ 13.438,45) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernest Trova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Study/Falling Man (Wheel Man) im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 63.000,00 (€ 54.091,18).
