In March 2015 Christies in New York held the auction First Open/NYC, which included the work FM Shadow 14741 C by Ernest Tino Trova. The »bidding war« ended at USD 10,625.00 (€ 9,892.00), 33% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Ernest Tino Trova have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Study/Falling Man (Wheelman) in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,270.61).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 33 % übertroffen
Im März 2015 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open/NYC durch, in der auch die Arbeit FM Shadow 14741 C von Ernest Tino Trova zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 9.892,00) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ernest Tino Trova auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Study/Falling Man (Wheelman) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.270,61).
