Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ernest Tino Trova could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Prints & Multiples Online auction, the work Falling Man (Manscapes) changed hands for USD 875.00 (€ 763.79) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ernest Tino Trova achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Study/Falling Man (Wheelman) in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 75,000.00 (€ 67,270.61).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ernest Tino Trova konnte im Dezember 2018 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online wechselte die Arbeit Falling Man (Manscapes) für USD 875,00 (€ 763,79) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ernest Tino Trova erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Study/Falling Man (Wheelman) im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 75.000,00 (€ 67.270,61).
